How can we possibly hold the weight of loss and grief, when it feels like a stone necklace pulling us down? Follow the story of a nameless New England wanderer as they navigate ancient markers and moss covered stone walls through the thick forest to find out. This Multi-generational service invites us to scatter the weight of loss and unwelcome change across the landscape of community in hopes that together we can sustain and rise above what we alone cannot. You are all invited to bring a photograph or other physical memory of someone/something you’ve lost and are grieving, to place on an altar in the Sanctuary during the service.
